Excellent food, great service, and reasonable prices

Amazing place, Friendly and engaging staff (ours appeared to be owner/manager) spot on service. BUT gem was the food! Even with a limited menu, We ordered 2 meals an an app. Seasoned perfect and with correct temperature. They took new twists on classics and personalized it... smoked chicken wing before frying and coating, fried pita bread instead of crackers with good rendition of Artichoke dip, hand battered cod in store (not from box)... maybe slight negative .. price to portion on appetizer a bit off 20% over similar restraunts .... but more than made up by the ratio of our 2 entrees

I wouldn't recommend any of the food items. It's primarily a nighttime bar that's open for lunch, too, so their focus isn't food. There are a dozen better options just a few feet away.

Beer selection is ok, could be better. Pub menu is mid-sized, but selections are solidly executed. Nice outdoor seating area and friendly staff make this a good place to visit.

The atmosphere is probably my favorite in Oxford, however the menu is small especially when you would likely only choose from maybe 3 of the things on there. Wish they could get a better menu... it has all the potential

I had the Hawaiian burger and broccoli slaw it was excellent looked great prepared correctly and a pretty good value for the price. Considering it's a college town sports bar in the Friday night it was a good value friendly staff and clean dinner! Would recommend!

Amazing! Brought in a huge group without calling ahead and the service was outstanding despite that. Food was delicious and priced right. I will be back every time I am in town.

At the moment you enter that place the stuff gives you an agreeable feeling. Very courteous team, it is a happy place to go out with buddies or with your date. delicious food, talented chef de cuisine, good cost and excellent service. Highly recommended.

I had a very good burger. The creme brulé was good. Beer choices were solid. Service was good. The shrimp poorboy needed a little work, but manager seemed to be interested in fixing the problem.Visited again... everything was fair.

Stopped in here for lunch, got a pretty sweet deal on wings. Decent beer selection. Service was slow though.

Walked there from the football stadium during a weather delay. Staff was great..........food was good.......lots of TVs

Service was good. Staff was friendly. Onion rings were great. Pasta was cold and heavily oiled. Burgers were overdone. Spinach and artichoke dip was watery. I won't come back.

A solid sports bar and grill type place. Good food and drink deals during the week and they have a good beer list. A great local alternative to BWW or Scotty's. During the warm months the back patio is a nice place to hang out.

Really great food. I miss some of the old menu items but still a great place and cool crowd! Good service too!

The food and service were both excellent. Everyone in our party was very pleased with everything.

Service was great ok. Burger and salt and pepper fries were tasty. It was a good place to watch the game and not be in an overly crowded location.

We enjoy to go out. Last night we went to this superb place which friends recommended to us. We had a beautiful evening there with high-qulity dishes and a nice crew and a distinguished cook. We put this place in our phone list and we will definitely visit again very soon. We highly recommend.

Slow food delivery, and when side dish of coleslaw was delivered, it came out in a condiment cup...literally. Enough for one bite of coleslaw. Our beers were all mixed up (we eventually figured out who had who's beers), as they were all different imports in pilsner glasses at our table. Not worth the $35 I was charged for 2 fish & chips and 2 beers, sadly. Good atmosphere though.

Great place to catch a game on one of a trillion flat screen TVs. Terrific burger and great wings! Caesar salad was real good. The only bad thing about this place is that it's not easy to find on Google Maps. Hopefully Google will get that figured out.

The restaurant is well designed with a great indoor bar and dining area and a beautiful outdoor patio with a quiet comfortable space to dine and is even quite cool during the hottest days. My chief complaint is not the food but the service. Not even the waitresses. I have been 6 times to this place in hopes that it was just a fluke but I’m afraid not. They do not staff enough people to serve their clients. We waited one and a half hours for our food and had to walk out. It was not even full. Indoors had maybe 18 people at the most and out doors where we were had 12 plus us. Hopefully they staff more people. Our waitresses was kind and not slow but could not do all the work.

Service okay, food left something to be desired. Everything was dry, essentially no seasoning.

Great service. Food was delicious. Will be coming back soon.

Very clean and welcoming spot. They offer large portions and for inexpensive prices. I loved the meals a lot and the staff members were super amiable and explanatory. Will definitely recommend this restaurant.

Terrible experience. My group came on graduation weekend so we were expecting a longer wait. It was self seating so we sat outside on the patio, and we told inside staff multiple times we were outside. Over two hours we were not serviced once, and had to go into the bar to order food. A big group came out to the patio and they were immediate served, because it appeared they knew the owner. We had no problem waiting longer due to graduation weekend, but the fact that this group was immediately service and we waited hours to not even get a server. I have worked in the food industry for 5 years, and I have never had a restaurant completely ignore me service like that. I will not be returning.

Place is great. Cozy with a lot of history. Bartender is awesome. Used to be a skating rink! Must check it out.

Had a great shaded set up for our party of 15 out in the private patio area. Nice selection of food and drinks, and food was very good American fair. Great friendly service too!

This is one of those hidden gem home town places. They serve up a good burger for sure. Even better when students are gone.

Ask for a fancy Miller lite and the bar tender was funny and played right along. Good wait staff.

Spacious more modern inside than appearances would suggest from the outside. Ambience is with low lighting. Outdoor patio in the back.

Staff was excellent, but just wished the food was as good. Got the fish n chips and it was not good. Fish was water-logged - usually indicates frozen pieces then battered. No flavor & fries were no hot. But the company I was with and the wait staff were awesome.
